Saw Indiana Jones and the fucking aliens tonight. Bad decision. Horrible movie. It hurt my face. The script was painful.
Tomorrow is my shoot with Princess Donna. My first movie. I hope y’all (and the community at large) like it. At any rate, it should be tons of fun. I got to talk to Donna about it a bit at The Armory this week. She was very enthusiastic and I was a lot flirty. I encouraged her to be as wicked as she wanted and I hope she makes me regret it. =)
I had some talent drop out at the last minute, which I’m bummed about. Luckily (and she’s done this before, ’cause she’s awesome and one of my go-to gals) January Seraph stepped in and will be joining the cast. I’ve gotten solid confirmations from everyone else and am really excited.
This week went by far too fast. Tuesday I shot for Hogtied. It was fun. I was a weenie. Matt made me tell everyone that I was a weenie. He made me squirm and squeal and whine. Of course, I was punished for it. It was lovely and I have the marks to prove it. It also exhausted all of my reserves. Wednesday was a shoot for Chanta. I worked with Beverly Hills, who -despite her name- was an awesome model and lots of fun. I certainly feel that I didn’t give her a run for her money. I won’t be booking a bondage shoot then a domme shoot again if I can help it. Thursday I guested on TTOO. I worked with people I hadn’t worked with before, which I found challenging and fun. Everyone was in a very good mood on set and we laughed quite a bit. I got to wear a patent burgundy corset, which was fun.
The past year has brought a lot of change in my life. I’ve been on the mainland, for one thing. Since my sabbatical, I’ve gotten serious about my career, have gotten my website up, worked on my clip store, amassed content for both and worked on my wardrobe. In my personal life I’ve had the opportunity to learn so much about myself and what does and doesn’t work for me. I’m a much better boundary setter and communicator. I think, anyway.
