I have a great deal of respect for Princess Donna, and I recently wrote about one aspect of that respect, her success as a switch. This is an excerpt from a post in the Kink.com Forums. I find that the role of a switch (whether I’m switching in scene, a top, or a bottom or whatever) is the most challenging and fun for me. I find being the fluidity challenging and the control or lack of it a release.
People (myself included!!) like archetypes. They like to see people in one certain way. I think that may be the reason that “switches” aren’t so readily accepted. I’m finding, though, the more I get into bdsm the more I respect people that can hit just as hard from both sides. Watching Princess Donna’s Training, for example, has made me really want to submit to her that much more. It makes me want to be tougher for her, knowing that she knows exactly what she’s dishing out.
Perhaps I’m a little off topic here.
